Writing for The Garden Collective gives me a chance to get things off my chest and to share the pleasures and pitfalls of a life spent growing things.

Sharing one’s passion without too much interference when it comes to content is greatly liberating and I enjoy imagining an audience who have, I hope, become friends. I try not to rant too much but occasionally it’s fun to stir things up a bit.

It’s also good to raise a smile. Life needs levity as well as learning. I hope my contributions provide both.’
