Annie Guilfoyle
Welcome, you have found The Garden Collective and you have landed here with me, on my garden bench. I am absolutely thrilled to have been part of this amazing group of writers since we began over two years ago.
We are basically a very chatty and sometimes quite opinionated bunch of garden geeks, who just love sharing all aspects of gardens and gardening, plants, garden history and much more. We try to tackle all the issues that you want to hear about and we really want to hear from you too.
We have no editor, so we write about all the subjects that we are passionate about and want to share. I particularly like to share information on the lesser-known gardens that you really must visit, thorny subjects like colour in the garden and why don’t we use more shrubs in our planting schemes!
My intention is to share my gardening passions with you but to ensure it is sound advice that you will not only find riveting but also incredibly useful. Many years as a garden designer and lecturer has given me an insight into what people generally find interesting or quite puzzling.
