Welcome to my little wild corner of the Garden Collective, where you’ll find lots of creepy crawlies, cute and fluffy garden wildlife and a whole lot of musings on gardening and growing your own in a nature friendly way.

 I was always a nature nerd from a young age, up trees and looking for fossils on the beach, but it was when I got my first allotment in my 20s that I really fell head over heels for horticulture, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve since left a very corporate career to spend as much time with my hands in the soil as possible.  

When I’m not gardening (or writing about gardening, talking about gardening or filming about gardening…) I can sometimes still be found in board meetings as a trustee of some gardening and conservation based charities (including the RHS) or eventually finishing off my masters in biodiversity & conservation!

I am on a mission to get everyone to give gardening a go, for nature connection, community connection and just to experience the pure magic that gardening brings – I truly believe that gardening is one of the ways we might be able to save the world, and as this collective shows, gardening really is for everyone.
